A.I.M.A. (International Association for the Animal World) is a non-profit organization (O.N.L.U.S.) dedicated to the protection of the environment and the safeguarding of animals. Its role encompasses managing and coordinating interventions during natural, civil, or industrial disasters, fires, and various types of events.
Key Functions Include:
- Training volunteer and non-volunteer personnel through courses in alpine diving, speleology, canine unit training, aviation, firefighting, road safety, radio communication, disaster and fire prevention.
- Raising public awareness.
- Monitoring territories and assessing potential collaborations with external structures.
- Establishing productive channels for public relations activities.
The association is strictly prohibited from engaging in activities outside the scope of those listed above. However, it may carry out activities directly related to its institutional purposes or supplementary to them, within the limits set by Legislative Decree No. 460 of December 4, 1997, and subsequent amendments.
The association recognizes and collaborates with other national and European organizations that share similar objectives while preserving its autonomy.
